Welcome to Perpetual Prints Ldn, a project born from family, legacy, and a shared love for the quiet beauty of the natural world.

My name is Amrit, and together with my husband, Ian, I founded Perpetual Prints Ldn as a way to celebrate and preserve the extraordinary work of someone very dear to me—my uncle, Amarjeet.

Photography has always been a thread woven through Amarjeet’s life. Growing up in a British Indian household, he became the unofficial family photographer, capturing generations of memories through family portraits, vibrant wedding celebrations, and, of course, countless pictures of his favourite (and only) niece, me!. His lens wasn’t just a tool—it was a way to pause moments that deserved to be remembered.

Following Covid in 2020, his relationship with photography shifted in a deeply meaningful way. What began as long, reflective walks with a camera soon evolved into a quiet pursuit of detail and stillness. He became fascinated by the tiny elements most people walk past without noticing—the shy rustle of small creatures, the delicate patterns in nature, and the subtle interplay of light and texture. Over time, this mindful attention grew into a genuine passion for capturing animals in their natural environments, flowers in their individuality, and landscapes that feel almost alive in their stillness.

Soon after, my uncle and I decided to take out an English Heritage membership. What started as a simple idea for weekend activities quickly became a treasured ritual. Each outing was a blend of exploration, homemade sandwiches, laughter, and the comforting simplicity of being outdoors. These trips filled our camera rolls with dozens, then hundreds, then thousands of photographs—images full of emotion, colour, character, and life. Eventually, it struck me just how much beauty was sitting quietly in our devices, unseen by anyone else. It felt wrong to keep them hidden.

Perpetual Prints Ldn was created to change that. This project is more than a collection of images—it is my way of honouring my uncle’s evolving craft, celebrating the patience and love behind every shot, and sharing with others the calm and joy these moments have brought to our family. Each photograph represents time spent together, stories gathered along the way, and a deep appreciation for the quiet magic woven into nature which has been captured so effortlessly through his lens.
